All the music for this album was recorded outdoors, using only renewable energy.
We moved the studio out of the city, and to capture the acoustics of the place in the music — the wind, birdsong, rustling trees, and other sounds — we set up dozens of
microphones that recorded not only the instruments but also the environment responding to them.
The entire project is an attempt to show that both nature and culture shape this vast world, in which it is worth being sensitive to relationships, careful, and quiet in order to avoid disasters. It is an appeal to humanity, a gentle — almost whispered — request to pay attention to what is happening inside and outside, to notice not only the small, familiar inner world but also the greater world, where human irresponsibility often becomes a widespread problem.
